Photo project "Beyond the Horizon"
At the beginning of my travel journey, there were no outdoor enthusiasts around me, and finding information was challenging. To fill the void, I created this blog. Now, the outdoor life is my passion, work, and life, and I've gathered a lot of people who travel with a backpack around the world. In my trek reports, I try to provide a lot of useful information, but each trek begins with emotion. Emotions from a random photo on the feed or stories of people who have caught my attention so much that it served as a starting point to learn everything about the place and eventually go there. This project aims to collect emotions in photographs to inspire people to travel to new places.
- Location: Iceland. Flight Moscow-Reykjavik. From Reykjavik, a bus from City Center to Landmanalaugar Valley (one way 5000 rubles).
- Best time to visit: July, August.
- Route highlight - the beauty of Iceland: fumaroles, canyons, waterfalls, volcanic landscapes.
- Why here: For most people who are not afraid of not the warmest weather, this place offers maximum safety: low crime rate, no large predators, no bloodsuckers.
- Advice for those repeating the route: One of the main tips for the Laugavegur route is not to be afraid to plan it relying on someone. It's an extremely safe route with passive safety, markings, and convenient campsites.
- Story from the trek: Once, while walking in the local mountains, not far from the town of Vik, I noticed a sheep that had climbed into a place where it couldn't get down. I wonder how it got there)) Perhaps it decided to take a desperate step
